ผมชื่อ คริสเตียน แอลิช ประกอบธุรกิจส่วนตัว ในประเทศเยอรมนี ผมรู้จักวัดพระธรรมกายครั้งแรกที่ประเทศไทย ได้รู้จักพระสงฆ์และผู้ที่เข้าวัด ผมขอยืนยันอย่างมั่นใจว่า วัดพระธรรมกายไม่ใช่ลัทธิ ซึ่งคำๆ นี้ เป็นคำที่คนเยอรมันมักใช้กับผู้นำที่ล้างสมองประชาชน ใช้กับพวกคนบ้าและพวกหัวรุนแรง ซึ่งวัดพระธรรมกายไม่ได้เป็นแบบนั้น โดยส่วนตัวแล้วผมมักจะระมัดระวังการใช้คำพูดเรื่องศาสนา ดังนั้นผมจึงขอพูดด้วยจิตสำนึกว่า 

วัดพระธรรมกายเป็นวัดทางพระพุทธศาสนาวัดหนึ่ง ที่ขึ้นอยู่กับการปกครองของคณะสงฆ์และมหาเถระสมาคม แห่งประเทศไทย และทางวัดก็ได้เผยแผ่คำสอนของสมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า โดยมีแหล่งอ้างอิงจากพระไตรปิฎก สอนวิธีการปฏิบัติธรรม ที่ง่ายต่อการฝึกฝน และไม่ขึ้นอยู่กับความเชื่อทางศาสนาใดศาสนาหนึ่ง ดังนั้นวัดจึงมีชื่อเสียงในทางที่ดีสำหรับคนไทย ผมเองในฐานะที่เป็นพวกไม่ค่อยเชื่อเรื่องศาสนา ก็เรียนวิธีการทำสมาธิจากวัดนี้ และก็ไปปฏิบัติธรรมเป็นประจำด้วย

Mein Name ist Christian Ehrlich. Ich lebe in Bayern. Ich habe den Dhammakaya Tempel in Thailand kennen gelernt, seine Mönche und Gläubigen und kann definitiv ausschließen, dass es sich dabei um eine Sekte handelt. Dieses Wort ist im deutschen Sprachgebrauch sehr negativ besetzt wird assoziiert mit Gehirnwäsche , verrückten Anführern und fanatischen Anhängern. Der Dhammakaya Tempel ist alles andere als das. Ich bin selbst sehr vorsichtig was religiöse Gemeinschaften angeht und kann deswegen mit guten Gewissen diese Aussage machen.

 Der Dhammakaya Tempel ist ein normaler Buddhistischer Tempel und gehört zum National Office of Buddhism in Thailand. 

Er verbreitet die Buddhistische Lehre wie sie in den alten Schriften des Tripitaka stehen und bringt den Menschen unabhängig von deren Glauben auf einfache und natürliche Art und Weise die Meditation bei. Deswegen ist der Tempel bei der thailändischen Bevölkerung so beliebt. Auch ich als Religionsskeptiker habe dort die Meditation gelernt und praktiziere sie jetzt regelmäßig.

My name is Christian Ehrlich. I live in Deggendorf, Germany. I have visited the Dhammakaya temple in Thailand. I met many monks and members of the temple and I can definitely testify that it is not a sect. In many languages this word has a very negative meaning and is associated with brain washing, crazy sect leaders and fanatic followers. The Dhammakaya temple is the opposite of that. I am very sceptical torwards religious groups, so I can say these words with good conscience. 

The Dhammakaya temple is a normal buddhist temple and belongs to the National Office of Buddhism in Thailand. It spreads the buddhist teachings of the Tripitaka and teaches meditation to all people regardless of their religious belief. It teaches this meditation in an natural and easy way and is therefore very popular with the Thai people. Even I as a sceptic learned it and practice the Dhammakaya meditation regularly.
